 Accommodation

Wananavu offers 34 deluxe Fijian bures (bungalows). Five different bure categories are available, all tastefully decorated, meticulously clean, and equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, ensuite bathroom, minibar, tea & coffee, and hairdryer. There are no phones, radios or TVs in the bures, which gives you the opportunity to really experience this incredibly peaceful paradise.

Garden View Bures The 5 Garden View Bures with queen beds are set amongst the tropical trees. Awake to birds singing as you enjoy coffee on your deck. One of the Garden View Bures is a 2-bedroom bure.

Ocean View Bures There are 14 Ocean View Bures with king sized beds offering beautiful views of the shimmering waters.  Some of the bures can be offered with 2 twin beds.

Beach Front Bures The 8 Beach Front Bures with king beds are perfect for couples. Imagine waking up to the sound of waves gently rolling on the beach. A few bures can accommodate a 2nd bed for twin share.

Beach Front Villas Two 2 bedroom Beach Front Villas are perfect for families or groups of friends. They include all the comforts of the other bures but also have a washing machine as well as wide comfortable decks to enjoy.

Villa Vanua Bring the whole family and stay in the upscale Villa Vanua. It sleeps 10 people in 4 large bedrooms and features a full kitchen, state of the art audio-visuals, intricate traditional wood and twine work, a 10 meter pool and a view that money can’t buy.

Three of the Ocean View and one of the Beach Front Bures, are designated Honeymoon Bures. Enjoy a bit more privacy and space in these bures along with stunning views, your own plunge pool with a separate deck, a king-sized bed as well as an indoor and outdoor shower.

Dining

Fresh Fijian influenced delights await you at the onsite ala carte restaurant. You can expect excellent service from friendly Fijians who ensure a great experience. Breakfast starts at 7am and is usually composed of fresh fruit, juices, cereals, muffins, fresh bread. Eggs and other cooked food can be ordered off the ala carte menu. The menus are always changing at Wananavu, but you can expect the all day menu to have a nice selection of familiar items such as cajun chicken salad, pizza, hamburgers, and fish and chips. The dinner menu features fancier fare such as gently poached fish dishes, succulent and juicy lime chicken, paella, seafood platters and delectable deserts. Once a week, you can expect a Lovo Night – a traditional Fijian way of cooking everything in banana leaves over hot stones buried underground. The Sunset bar, open from 7am until the last person leaves, offers a selection of international and local beers, wines, liquor, cocktails, and mocktails. Diving

The currents of the Bligh Waters bring nutrients to the abundance of marine life that inhabits the area. Diving in Fiji means thousand fish frenzies, huge gorgonian corals, translucent jellyfish, eagle rays, and sharks as well as scores of soft vibrant soft corals, nudibranchs, eels and invertebrates. The area’s diving varies between pinnacles, wall dives, atolls, swim throughs’ and drift dives. Boat rides to the dive sites vary between 10 minutes (Sailstone Reef) to 75 minutes (Vatu-I-Ra and Bligh Passage). Experience fantastic diving at dive sites with intriguing names such as Mellow Yellow, Black Magic Mountain and others. There is truly, a little something for everyone.  Wananavu runs two purpose built dive boats that carry a total of 22 divers. There is also easy access to shore dives.
