Belize is located on Central America`s Caribbean coast, just south of Mexico`s Yucatan Peninsula and east of Guatemala. 

Your international flight will take you into Belize City. There are a few dive operations on the mainland, but most divers will take a short connecting flight to the many outlying islands (cayes) and atolls. Belize boasts the world second largest barrier reef - so close to the shore you can almost see it from your hotel room. 

 Thirty-six miles north east of Belize City is Ambergris Caye.  Situated just one mile inside the reef means there is plenty of good dive sites to choose from.   In addition to the local dive sites, dive operators also offer full day 3 tank boat dives to the Blue Hole & Lighthouse Reef.
