Australia

Who does not know the Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of the world and one of Australia’s best known attraction on the east coast? Beyond lies even more spectacular diving in the Coral Sea. Too far from the coast for a day trip, Australia is a must for liveaboards. World renowned Mike Ball Dive Expeditions offer shorter trips as well as week long trips. Most trips start from either Cairns or Townsville in the Northeastern territory of Queensland.

Another dive destination in Australia is the West coast, where cage diving with the Great White Shark is a seasonal attraction. Contact us for details.

A trip to Australia begs for a topside extension: From Cairns explore the Kuranda Rainforest. Take a side trip to Darwin and visit Ayers Rock, spend a few days exploring Sydney, drive the Great Ocean Road between Melbourne and Adelaide, relax on the Gold Coast or experience more diving in Tasmania. The options are almost endless and truly require more than one trip.
