Scuba Diving in Cuba still seems to be a secret...not much is written up in dive magazines due to the US Embargo. The Cuban people are known for their friendliness and it is a very safe country for tourists.

The best diving is off the Caribbean Coast, with the Isle of Youth being among the favourites. Although lots of charter packages are offered to the well developed tourist destination of Varadero, diving this part of the Atlantic coast of Cuba will not offer enough variety to the experienced diver.

We recommend to fly into Havana, spend a few days enjoying the historic sites and then head off either by plane or catamaran to the Isle of Youth for some fabulous diving.
